The Ukrainian national football team played to a draw against Belgium on the eve of the Euro 2024 championship, accumulating four points in their group but ultimately exiting the tournament. The “Blue and Yellow” became the first participant in recent continental championship history to depart with such a points total.
Furthermore, for the first time, the Ukrainian national team managed to keep a clean sheet in a European Championship match. Previously, they had conceded goals in all 13 of their previous matches.
