The Ukrainian national football team played to a draw against Belgium on the eve of the Euro 2024 championship, accumulating four points in their group but ultimately exiting the tournament. The “Blue and Yellow” became the first participant in recent continental championship history to depart with such a points total.
Furthermore, for the first time, the Ukrainian national team managed to keep a clean sheet in a European Championship match. Previously, they had conceded goals in all 13 of their previous matches. This, along with his confident performance in goal, made goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin the standout player of the match.

Analytical portals WhoScored and SofaScore awarded the highest ratings to the representative of Benfica in our team – 7.5 and 7.7 respectively. Trubin surpassed defenders Mykola Matviyenko and Oleksandr Tymchyk, as well as midfielder Georgiy Sudakov.

Alexander Zinchenko was named the worst among Ukrainians. He came on the field in the second half, played for 32 minutes, and received 5.9 points from WhoScored and 6.4 from SofaScore.
