Ukraine and the Netherlands signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in Lviv aimed at deepening cooperation in the penitentiary sector during the visit of a delegation from the Ministry of Justice and Security of the Netherlands, led by the Minister of Legal Protection and Penitentiary System, Claudia van Bruggen.
As part of the visit, the Dutch delegation also handed over to the State Committee for Internal Affairs of Ukraine the first batch of specially equipped vehicles for transporting detainees that meet international logistical requirements for transporting prisoners. The next batch of vehicles is already being prepared to cross the border and will be delivered to Ukraine this year.
In addition, the progress in establishing the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine was discussed.
