Ukraine and the United Kingdom have announced the launch of the UK-Ukraine TechBridge, a technology bridge to support the development of the Ukrainian IT sector. This was announced by Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov. According to him, this initiative will provide Ukrainian IT companies and startups with more opportunities for growth, including more accessible access to funding from British investors and grants.
“The project will facilitate more effective cooperation between Ukrainian companies and their British colleagues and partners. We are already recognized as one of the most sustainable technological ecosystems in the world, ready to export and share this experience,” said Fedorov.
The minister emphasized that the UK-Ukraine TechBridge benefits both countries by facilitating the creation of powerful joint products and services.
“An important part of this initiative is the retraining and professional development programs for Ukrainian IT specialists. Representatives of leading global companies such as Cisco, Salesforce, and Oracle will share their experience. After participating in these programs, Ukrainian developers will strengthen the IT industry in Ukraine,” the minister added.
Fedorov also thanked the British and the UK government for supporting Ukraine’s technological future.
