The Irish rock band U2 performed in Las Vegas, and their leader Bono appealed to the American authorities to help Ukraine in the war against Russia.
The band expressed support for Ukraine since the beginning of the aggressor’s major offensive. Bono emphasized that it will soon be two years since the full-scale invasion.
The musician expressed the opinion that the Ukrainian people are tirelessly resisting the brutal aggressor. According to the rocker, Ukraine is fighting for itself and the freedom of the whole world. If we don’t help Ukrainians, Russia will go on to invade other countries.
Bono noted that freedom is vital to Ukrainians, so a high price is paid for it – human lives. Therefore, the artist urged to help the Ukrainian people as soon as possible.
