Soon, the Russian and Ukrainian sides may sit down at the negotiating table to resolve the Russian-Ukrainian war, said US President Donald Trump.
The American leader also called the war in Ukraine “the worst since World War II.” Donald Trump said this during a meeting with Finnish President Alexander Stubbs on October 8, which was broadcast on the White House YouTube page.

During the meeting, the US president mentioned the great losses suffered by both sides of the conflict.
“This is a terrible war. It is worse than anything since World War II. You see people dying – it is Russia and Ukraine. I think they will soon sit down at the negotiating table,” said Donald Trump.
