The World Congress of Ukrainians and Saint Javelin have donated state-of-the-art combat medical backpacks to SBU medics

Ukrainian diaspora in Canada donates Toyota pickup trucks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Through its “Unite with Ukraine” initiative, the World Congress of Ukrainians, in partnership with Saint Javelin, has donated fifteen state-of-the-art combat medical backpacks to the medical teams of the Security Service of Ukraine.

It is noted that the backpacks were developed in close collaboration with SBU medics and equipped to meet the real needs of frontline medicine and the provision of emergency care to the wounded in combat zones. Their contents were determined based on direct recommendations from medical personnel working near the front lines.

Each backpack contains a wide range of essential supplies for treating injuries and emergency conditions. The kits include CAT Gen 7 tourniquets, SAM Junctional Tourniquets, QuikClot hemostatic gauze, HyFin Vent occlusive patches, decompression needles, compressed gauze, trauma bandages, SAM splints, thermal blankets for the wounded, burn treatment kits, airway management devices, supraglottic airways, endotracheal tubes, Ambu bags, oxygen masks, intravenous infusion sets, intravenous catheters, syringes with saline solution, emergency medications, laryngoscope handles and blades, trauma scissors, diagnostic equipment, and protective medical supplies.
