Ukraine has started accepting applications for participation in the National Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2027. Applications can be submitted until November 2, and the winner will be determined in February of the following year.
Solo artists and bands with up to six members, who will be at least 18 years old by May 3, 2027, can participate. Contestants may submit an unlimited number of songs, including demos.
The National Selection team has already begun revealing the first details of the contest and is preparing for the new season. Notably, the music producer for the 2027 National Selection has been announced. This role will once again be filled by musician and composer Dmytro Shurov, known as Pianoboy.
Additionally, the format of the National Selection will change this year. Organizers plan to conduct the contest considering the security situation in Ukraine and potential challenges of the winter period.
