Music streaming service Spotify is launching a new feature – comments on podcast episodes.
Spotify notes that the new feature is important for podcast authors who want to grow their audience and build strong relationships with it.
By default, comments will be private, and podcasters will have to approve each comment they want to display. This feature can also be turned off.
Content creators can manage comments in the Spotify for Podcasters web app and the updated Spotify for Podcasters app. There, the new feature will be rolled out over the next few days.
Spotify users will be able to take advantage of the new functionality in a few days as well. Comments will be rolled out in stages in different countries.
