Days of Ukrainian Cinema to be held in Rome

The debut short film “XyZ” by a Ukrainian student won the prestigious Lulea International Film Festival in Sweden in the Best Debut Short Film category.

The film was directed by Eva Baziv, a 3rd-year student of non-fiction film directing at the I. Karpenko-Kary KNUTKiT (Valentyn Marchenko workshop). The film stars People’s Artist Tetyana Mikhina and Honored Artist Serhiy Kiyashko.

“XyZ” is a dramedy, the plot of which unfolds during a psychotherapy session, where a worldview conflict arises between a patient from Generation Z and a psychotherapist from Generation X.
