Seven Ukrainian films will be screened at the Cottbus Film Festival in Germany, the State Film Agency of Ukraine announced.
The Spectrum program will feature the following films: “Honeymoon” by director Zhanna Ozirna, “Our House on Fire” by Alisa Biletska, “Ordinary Citizen” by Korniy Hrytsyuk, “Daddy’s Lullaby” by Lesya Dyak, and “The Last Prometheus of Donbas” by Anton Shtuka.
The Wettbewerb Spielfilm section includes Valentyn Vasyanovych’s “For Victory!”, and the Ecoeast category includes Dmytro Greshko’s documentary “Divia.”
FilmFestival Cottbus is one of the leading European festivals dedicated to the cinema of Central and Eastern Europe. Its competition programs traditionally select works that highlight current social, cultural, and political processes in the region.
The festival traditionally takes place in Cottbus; this year, it will last from November 4 to 9.
