A rare 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition supercar was photographed in Kyiv. The 550-horsepower retro-style coupe is one of the most expensive cars in Ukraine. Only two Ford GTs are registered in Ukraine, and only one is the Heritage Edition.
The first-generation Ford GT supercar was produced from 2005 to 2006. It is the modern successor to the famous Ford GT40 of the 60s, which won the 24 Hours of Le Mans four times. It was about this model that the film “The Outsiders” was shot, starring Matt Damon and Christian Bale.
A total of 4,038 Ford GTs were produced, of which 343 are in the Heritage Edition version. This version features the Gulf Racing team’s original livery, which won Le Mans twice with the Ford GT40. The current price of the Ford GT Heritage Edition is $600,000 to $800,000.
