On October 10, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted bill № 11416-d to increase taxes as a whole.
A total of 247 MPs voted in favor of the bill. The adopted amendments to laws № 563 and 580 abolish the status of a tax agent from the notary for notarized contracts of sale between individuals.
Also, Amendment No. 1149 was adopted to leave the 1.5% military levy for the military.
When considering the second reading, the Parliament made a number of changes to the bill. In particular, it rejected the increase in the military levy for military personnel, leaving it at 1.5%.
The document’s final version has yet to be made public, but the changes may cause many legal problems with the text.
- Officially increased to 5% military levy for FLP and other categories.
- Advance fees on gas stations.
- 1% on all forms of FLP 3rd group.
- 25% of profits on financial institutions.
- 50% tax on bank profits in 2024.
