The financial company NovaPay EU, part of the Ukrainian NOVA Group (“Nova Poshta”), has entered the European market. In mid-September, it launched a version of its financial application for Ukrainians living in Europe. This was announced by NovaPay CEO Ihor Syrovatko.
The launch of the European version of the application was made possible thanks to a partnership with the Polish payment system Quicko. This model allowed NovaPay to quickly enter the market.
In fact, Quicko, which holds a license from the Polish financial regulator, provides all the necessary economic infrastructure: it issues payment cards, opens virtual accounts, and facilitates transfers, including within the SEPA system. In return, NovaPay provides customers with a familiar and convenient interface of its application and brand.
This approach enables the company to provide services while its European subsidiary, NovaPay EU, registered in Lithuania, completes the process of obtaining a license.
According to Igor Syrovatko, international expansion is a key priority for the company.
