Nobel Laureate Oleksandra Matviychuk to hold meetings in four Canadian cities

The Canada Ukraine Foundation has announced a Canadian tour by the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize laureate and head of the Center for Civil Liberties Foundation, Oleksandra Matviychuk.

The meetings will take place in Ottawa (June 4-5), Montreal (June 6), Toronto (June 7), and Winnipeg (June 8-9).

According to the announcement, during numerous events in four Canadian cities, Ms. Matviychuk will talk about the fate of thousands of Ukrainian children abducted by Russia, the impact of war on women and children, and her work on cataloging human rights violations and war crimes.

Oleksandra Matviychuk is a Ukrainian human rights activist, winner of the Vasyl Stus and Defender of Democracy awards. She is the head of the Center for Civil Liberties and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2022. She works on human rights issues in Ukraine and the OSCE region.
