Muse leader Matthew Bellamy supports Ukrainians

The day before, Matthew Bellamy, the leader of the famous British rock band Muse, expressed solidarity with Ukrainians who are fighting every day for the right to live freely in their native land.

He posted an eloquent video on his Instagram page. The video shows the musician playing a guitar decorated with the Ukrainian flag. To enhance the visual effect and significance of the video, Matthew was dressed in blue and yellow clothes.

“Won’t Stand Down” is about standing up to bullies on the playground, at work, or anywhere else – protecting yourself from coercion and sociopathic manipulation and facing adversity with strength, confidence, and determination,” Matthew Bellamy signed the video.

As a reminder, on the eve of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Muse presented a video for the song Won’t Stand Down, filmed in Kyiv. The video was filmed with the participation of the Ukrainian production studio Shelter Film, which has previously shot “Kyiv” videos for Stromae and Dua Lipa. The filming occurred in a closed pavilion, so the city is not visible in the video.
