Mstyslav Chernov’s film “2000 meters to Andriivka” nominated for an Emmy Award

The film "2000 Meters to Andriyivka" will represent Ukraine at the Oscars

The Ukrainian documentary film directed by Mstyslav Chernov, “2000 meters to Andriivka,” has been nominated for an Emmy Award, one of the most prestigious awards in documentary film and television.

The film will compete in six main categories, including “best documentary”, “best direction”, “best screenplay”, as well as awards for cinematography, editing, and a documentary project about current events, as stated on the official website of the award.

This year, more than 2,000 works were submitted for the award, and about 900 experts from the fields of news and documentary were evaluated.

The 47th News & Documentary Emmy Awards ceremony will be held in New York on May 28.
