Leléka to represent Ukraine at Eurovision 2026

Singer Leléka won the national selection with the song Ridnym and will represent Ukraine at Eurovision 2026, which will be held in Vienna.

The singer received the maximum 10 points from the jury and from the audience.

Leléka is the pseudonym of Ukrainian singer, arranger, and film composer Viktoria Leleka.

Born in the city of Shakhtarske in the Dnipro region. She graduated from the Karpenko-Kary National University of Theater, Film and Television in Kyiv. During her studies, she worked as an actress at the Young Theater. In 2016, she moved to Berlin, where she founded the ethno-jazz band Leléka, studied jazz vocals at the Dresden Conservatory, and later received a master’s degree in film composition.

In parallel, she develops a solo art project, Donba₴grl, and in Ukraine, she is also known as the author of music for TV series.

The song Ridnym tells of the inner state of change, the acceptance of fear, and moving forward at a time when the usual supports disappear. The composition combines folk jazz elements, art pop, electronic sounds, a string orchestra, and bandura.

The 70th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Vienna after the Austrian performer JJ won with the song Wasted Love in 2025.

The grand final is scheduled for May 16, 2026, and the semi-finals will be held on May 12 and 14. The contest will be hosted by the largest indoor arena in Austria – Wiener Stadthalle.
