The documentary Jamala: Songs of Freedom won the best film at the Corporate Media & TV Awards in Cannes. The film, which is about the activities and support of Ukraine by singer and songwriter Jamala in the first days of the full-scale invasion, won in the Human and Social Issues category and received a coveted statuette.
The singer shared the good news on her Instagram page. According to Jamala, her film was chosen from 800 entries from 46 countries.
