It will become more profitable for Ukrainian women to do business in Poland

The Ministry of Finance of Poland plans to reduce the VAT tax rate from 23% to 8% for several services. The matter concerns activities in the beauty sector, where many Ukrainian women work in Poland. Now, only hairdressers pay 8% tax.

From April 1, the tax burden will be reduced for entrepreneurs who provide services that do not require special medical knowledge:

  • facial care and makeup;
  • manicures and pedicures;
  • cosmetic actions with eyebrows and eyelashes;
  • ear piercing;
  • beauty care and makeup consultations;
  • body care;
  • depilation,
  • ultraviolet and infrared irradiation.

VAT taxes will remain unchanged at 23% for the following services:

  • tattooing;
  • piercing;
  • solarium;
  • massage;
  • in the field of plastic surgery.

The tax reduction is expected to stimulate the legalization of the business of providing services in the beauty sector. Those who provide services will be able to reduce their cost to customers.
