In September, almost 17 thousand used cars imported from abroad joined the Ukrainian car fleet. Compared to September 2023, registrations of such vehicles decreased by 19%. Compared to the previous month, this figure fell by 34%. This was reported by Ukrautoprom.
It is noted that this year, this is one of the lowest rates of registrations of imported second-hand cars; less was registered only in January.
The largest share in this car market segment belonged to gasoline cars – 46%.
Diesel cars came in second with 25%.
The third place went to electric cars – 19%.
This is followed by hybrids and cars with LPG – 5% each.
The average age of used cars that switched to Ukrainian license plates in September is 9.2 years.
Volkswagen Golf remains the leader in registrations among imported second-hand cars.
