Google provides Ukrainian students with a free annual subscription to AI Pro

Google may buy cybersecurity startup Wiz for $23 billion - this will be the largest deal of the tech giant

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine reported that students of higher education institutions have free access to Google’s AI tools. The only conditions are that they must be 18 years old and activated by December 9.

Ukrainian students have access to:

  • Gemini 2.5 Pro without restrictions, which can help with homework, essays, and complex questions;
  • a tool for deep information analysis, Deep Research, which can independently process hundreds of sources and prepare a structured report for essays or term papers;
  • a personal assistant for organizing knowledge, NotebookLM, which can structure notes and ideas;
  • a tool for creating 8-second videos with sound from text or photos, Veo 3, which can be helpful for presentations and educational projects;
  • an AI assistant for programming Jules, which can become an assistant for IT students, in particular in correcting errors in the code and developing new features;
  • 2 TB of cloud storage to store all your learning materials, projects, photos, and documents on Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos.

Access activation will be possible until December 9.
