One of the most famous pop singers in Vietnam, Ho Quynh Huong, translated songs by Ukrainian singers Ruslana and Tina Karol and has been performing them at her concerts for several years.
This was revealed through videos of Ho Quynh Huong’s concerts uploaded to her YouTube channel.
In particular, the Vietnamese singer covered Tina Karol’s hit “Pupsik”. The single was released in 2006 and included in the Ukrainian singer’s first mini-album, “Nochenka” (“Night”).
Tina Karol has already responded to the incident on Instagram. She noted that such a performance violates copyright. The singer is now looking for an international intellectual property lawyer.
In addition, Ho Quynh Huong performs a translation of Ruslana Lyzhychko’s song “Wild Dances”, with which the singer won Eurovision 2004. The Ukrainian artist has not yet commented on the situation.
