Alphabet holding company, owned by tech giant Google, is negotiating the acquisition of cybersecurity startup Wiz for $23 billion.

The acquisition of Wiz could be the largest deal in Google’s history.
Alphabet is considering the deal while other tech giants (Microsoft, OpenAI and Nvidia) are being actively scrutinized for compliance with US antitrust laws.
Earlier, US antitrust authorities expressed concerns about artificial intelligence. They are concerned about the advantages that Big Tech companies (the four largest technology companies in the world: Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple) in accessing data used to train AI models. They also believe that partnerships between companies can be used to circumvent the necessary procedures for reviewing mergers and acquisitions.
