French film director, screenwriter, actor, and editor Michel Azanavicius, who won an Oscar, will publish a book about the war in Ukraine and its defenders.
According to the director, last year, he visited the front line in Ukraine and, with his own drawings, wrote a book about Ukrainian defenders. It will be published in France in February.
Azanavicius has been fond of drawing since he was 10 years old. So he used his old hobby to illustrate what he saw in Ukraine and to work on a new animated film about World War II, which will be released in Ukraine on January 30.
His book will also be presented in Ukraine. He will use all the proceeds from its sale to help Ukrainians.
