Foreign investors to invest over $100 million in Ukrainian defense technologies

The number of bankrupts in Ukraine is increasing to a record high

Four companies from the US and Europe plan to invest over $100 million in the Ukrainian defense technology sector. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov following the results of the international event Brave1 Defense Tech Valley 2025, which was held in Lviv on September 16-17.

  • NUNC Capital (Netherlands) will provide 20 million euros to create and scale promising defense companies in Ukraine;
  • Verne Capital (Germany) will invest 25 million euros in Ukrainian defense innovations;
  • Varangians (Sweden) announced a large-scale investment plan in Ukraine and has already closed the first deal, the details of which will be disclosed soon;
  • Oedipus INC will soon announce an ambitious cooperation with Ukrainian defense tech;
  • Swarmer, which is developing drone swarm technology, has raised $15 million from American investment funds led by Broadband Capital Investments.
