An exhibition of Ukrainian and Polish artists with works on the theme of the war in Ukraine titled “Art and War” is presented at the Window on Culture art gallery in the center of the Polish capital. The exhibition features works by the most prominent Ukrainian and Polish artists, reflecting the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The Ukrainian part of the exhibition includes works by Mykola Goncharov, Zakentiy Gorobiov, Oleksandr Grekhov, Oleh Hryshchenko, Artem Husiev, Dmytro Dziuba, Andriy Yermolenko, Katya Lisova, Anton Logov, Maksym Palenko, and Dasha Podoltseva, Oleksii Revika, Oleksii Say, Dmytro Simonov, Mykhailo Skop, Nikita Titov, Mykyta Shylimov, Albina Yalosa, and participants of the group project Art Against War (Kateryna Buchatska, Misha Zavalnyi, Nikita Kravtsov). These works are included in the book Wartime Posters, published in cooperation with the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Zaporizhzhia City Council with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.
Meanwhile, the Polish part of the exhibition is represented by sculptures, posters, installations, and banners. These are the works of Andrzej Milewski, Matylda Damiencka, Jakub Jezierski, Paweł Jąca, Ida Karkoszka, Bartłomiej Kielbovich, Hani Kmiec, Tomasz Kopciewicz, and Aleksander Malachowski, Agata Nowicka, Tomasz Partyka, Max Skorwider, Michał Slezkin, Beata Sliwinska, Patryk Sroczynski, Irmina Stas, Marta Frey, Michał Frydrych, Aleksandra Cieslak.
The exhibition of works by Ukrainian and Polish authors will run in Warsaw from February 22 to 29.
