The New York Times has published a selection of the 100 most significant photos of the year taken by the newspaper’s photojournalists in 2025.
Among them are eight photos from Ukraine that capture the war, its consequences, and key events: destruction after Russian strikes, portraits of Ukrainian soldiers and international political meetings, including negotiations between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump at the White House.
