The Czech company Excalibur Army, part of the Czechoslovak Group (CSG) holding company, has opened a representative office in Kyiv. This was reported by the company’s press service, writes Forbes.
The office will handle orders, documentation, technical consultations, and facilitate cooperation with Ukrainian partners.
Excalibur Army has been supplying Ukraine with weapons since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, delivering more than 1,000 pieces of equipment (tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, artillery systems, rocket launchers) and more than 2 million large-caliber ammunition rounds.
In partnership with Ukrainian Armored Vehicles LLC, the company has prepared a project for the production of 155 mm and 105 mm caliber ammunition in Ukraine. A memorandum of cooperation was signed in 2024, with production scheduled to start in 2025.
At the initial stage, 50% of production will be localized, with plans to increase this to 80% by the end of the year. Production involves the manufacture of 100,000 155 mm shells and 50,000 105 mm shells, subject to a government order.
