Last month, Ukrainians purchased a record number of new passenger cars over the past 13 months — 7.8 thousand units. This is a third more than in October 2024 and 14% more than in September 2025, Ukravtoprom reports.
The Chinese brand BYD led the market, exceeding its results from the previous year by 6.5 times. The closest competitors are Toyota and VW.
The bestseller of the month was the VOLKSWAGEN ID.Unyx electric car.
In total, 60.7 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Ukraine since the beginning of the year, which is 3% more than in the same period last year.
