Boryspil Airport assessed the possibility of resuming flights

Boryspil Airport is considering resuming civilian flights following a statement by the Office of the President of Ukraine. It is noted that regular training at the airport’s three training centers, including aviation safety and ground handling, helps maintain a high standard of professional activity.

Aviation expert Kyrylo Novikov believes that opening the skies is vital in improving transport links between Ukraine and the EU but emphasizes that insurance risks and security aspects remain essential factors. He also discusses the need for countermeasures and control of air routes to ensure the safe resumption of flights.

The President’s Office emphasizes the decisions of international partners, regulators, and insurance companies in resuming air traffic and the need to ensure the physical security of flights. The issue of choosing an airport to restart operations remains open, with Boryspil or Lviv being considered.
