The first Ukrainian Film Festival in Australia (UFFA) will be held from May 27 to 31 in several cities across the country. The Embassy of Ukraine in Australia announced this.
The festival is organized by the Ukrainian Arts Council of the Union of Ukrainian Organizations of Australia. Its goal is to introduce contemporary Ukrainian cinema to the Australian audience and to popularize Ukrainian culture, creativity, and the indomitability of the Ukrainian people.

The festival program will include a selection of films that reflect the diversity of Ukrainian society and the experiences of Ukrainians amid ongoing Russian aggression.
Film screenings are planned in Melbourne (Lido Cinemas, Hawthorn) and Sydney (Ritz Cinemas, Randwick). Events are also planned in Adelaide, Brisbane, and Canberra.
