On September 14, at 14:00, a sculpture called “Re:Forma of the Spirit” will be unveiled on the territory of the St. Sophia of Kyiv Conservation Area. It was created from pieces of the trunk and branches of the 400-year-old Petro Mohyla Linden tree, which was damaged by a hurricane in May 2022. The idea of the project belongs to the Dovgiy Family Office. The goal is to preserve and rethink the cultural heritage of Kyiv through art for the sake of future generations.
The presentation program includes free guided tours of St. Sophia of Kyiv by prior registration and art dialogues with Nadia Tymchuk, a cultural critic at the UKultura project and associate professor at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
The event’s special guest will be sculptor and artist Kostyantyn Skrytutskyi, known for his works on Landscape Alley, the Square of Intellectuals, and more.
