Arctic Monkeys release song to support children in Ukraine, Gaza, Yemen, and Sudan

British band Arctic Monkeys have released their first new song in four years, “Opening Night,” for the charity War Child, which supports children affected by war.

The song is the band’s first release since their last album, The Car (2022), and will be included on their charity album HELP(2), which is a follow-up to 1995’s Help. More than 30 years ago, it brought together some of Britain’s most famous musicians, including Radiohead, Blur, Sinéad O’Connor, and Smokin’ Mojo Filters, and raised $1.6 million for children affected by the Bosnian war.

The new album will be released on March 6, with proceeds benefiting War Child in 14 countries, including Sudan, Gaza, Ukraine, and Syria.
