American investors are ready to invest in Ukrainian defense startups through the new MITS Defense Accelerator. This initiative project, created in Ukraine with the participation of American investors, is aimed at supporting the development of the defense technology ecosystem in the country.
MITS offers startups the opportunity to receive investments of up to $200,000, which can be used to raise new funds and scale their business. The program is about providing financial support and further assistance in attracting investment and scaling.
The MITS Accelerator aims to promote the development of defense technologies in Ukraine by helping young companies reach a new level and become key market players. The program consists of two stages, each lasting three months: business acceleration and post-acceleration support. It is aimed at developing business thinking and efficient execution of defense orders.
The program is open to startups with a working MVP and is close to a working product. The emphasis is on several areas, including ground robotic systems, drone production, electronic warfare, communications and intelligence, military transport, mining and demining, ammunition production, and software and artificial intelligence systems development.
Applications for the MITS program are accepted until March 14, 2024.
