Aerosmith to end touring due to vocalist’s communication problems
The rock band Aerosmith has announced that it is stopping touring and canceling its farewell tour due to an injury to vocalist Steven Tyler.
The musicians also canceled their farewell Peace Out tour, which was announced in May 2023. They managed to play three concerts.
Tyler’s injury became known in September 2023, when he damaged his vocal cords. Because of this, the band postponed several concerts of their farewell tour.
In November, Tyler wrote that he was “recovering,” and in April of this year, Aerosmith announced that they would resume the tour in September in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and end it in February 2025 in Buffalo, New York.
