The seven-day pan-European theater festival Fokus Ukraine 777 Tage Days, dedicated to the war in Ukraine, is coming to an end in Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The program includes about two dozen thematic performances created during the period of Russia’s full-scale military operations in Ukraine by leading Ukrainian companies and theater artists from Poland, Belarus, Estonia and Germany.

Tickets for all days were sold out even before the opening. Moreover, as the project’s co-coordinator Stas Zhirkov emphasized, 80 percent of the audience were Germans. And this is a very important result.

For Ukrainians, tickets to all festival performances cost 1 euro. In addition, the program included many open, free events. There was a book cinema with Ukrainian fairy tales for kids.
