The national postal operator Ukrposhta has raised its level of postal development (2IPD) to the eighth, receiving 72.7 points out of 100 among 192 postal services in the 2024 Universal Postal Union ranking. This was announced by Ukrposhta CEO Ihor Smelyansky.
There are ten levels of postal development. Indicators from eight to ten are considered the best. A year ago, Ukrposhta received the sixth level with a score of 51.3.
Thus, for reliability (quality and speed of delivery), Ukrposhta received 91 points out of 100, compared to 82.6 points last year. For delivery coverage, the Ukrainian post office received 87.9 points (about 690,000 branches).
For adaptability to realities, Ukrposhta received 21.9 points, and for sustainability – 85.4 points.
Germany, Switzerland, Japan, the United States, France, the Netherlands, Australia, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Austria, and Sweden lead the Universal Postal Union ranking.
Ukraine is ranked 40th, India is 39th, and Bulgaria is 41st. Russia is ranked 49th.
