Ukrainians in Poland do not want to work for less than 900 euros

Investing in Ukraine is proving lucrative despite the ongoing war

According to the publication, Ukrainians have the highest financial expectations among all migrants. Only 5% are willing to work for less than 900 euros per month. Ukrainians in Poland have higher requirements than other groups of economic migrants. According to the local edition of Wprost, most of them expect a net salary of 4000 to 7700 zlotys.

According to journalists, Ukrainian citizens have long been the largest group of foreigners working in Poland. They are mainly active in management, construction, industrial processing, transportation, and services.

The publication notes that only 5% are willing to work for a salary below PLN 4000 net. About 85% of Ukrainians expect a salary of 4000 to 7700 PLN, and 10% want to earn more than 7700 PLN.

Foreigners from the Philippines, India, Nepal, Moldova, and Colombia have lower minimum wage expectations. In particular, 26% are ready to work for a salary of 3000 to 3900 PLN, 48% expect a salary of 4000 to 7700 PLN, and 26 percent% – for earnings above 7700 PLN.

The average salary of Ukrainians in Poland ranges from 3300 to 5500 PLN. From January 2025, the country plans to raise the minimum wage to 4666 zlotys and the minimum hourly rate from 28.20 zlotys to 30.50 zlotys, which may affect the income of Ukrainian citizens.
