As of April 1, 2026, the total amount of deposits of individuals (including individual entrepreneurs) in Ukrainian banks amounted to UAH 1,647.2 billion, which is UAH 29.4 billion more than the figure at the beginning of the year. This was reported by the Deposit Guarantee Fund of Individuals’ press service.
For the year, compared to the figure as of April 1, 2025, the total increase in citizens’ deposits amounted to UAH 254.4 billion.
Of the total amount of deposits of individuals as of April 1, 2026:
- deposits in national currency — UAH 1,073.4 billion (- UAH 9.7 billion for March 2026);
- deposits in foreign currency — UAH 573.8 billion (+ UAH 5.8 billion for March 2026).
The share of individual entrepreneurs in the structure of depositors as of April 1, 2026, was 3.2%, and in the structure of deposits, 11.5%. The amount of their deposits amounted to UAH 189.5 billion. It should be noted that deposits of individual entrepreneurs are subject to guarantees of the Deposit Guarantee Fund for Individuals.
