Since 2022, Ukrainians living and working in Poland have contributed about PLN 328.6 billion to the Polish economy. This is almost eight times higher than the Polish budget’s spending on supporting Ukrainians and helping Ukraine, which amounted to PLN 40.3 billion, writes Inpoland.net.
In 2024, Ukrainians’ contribution to GDP was 2.7%, equivalent to almost PLN 99 billion in additional economic output. At the same time, the employment rate of Ukrainians of working age reached 69%, and tax revenues and social contributions amounted to about PLN 18−19 billion per year.
In addition, Ukrainians registered more than 70,000 enterprises, creating new jobs and supporting domestic demand, thereby further strengthening the Polish economy.
