Last year, Ukrainians bought real estate in Poland, totaling about 380,000 square meters, or almost 7,700 apartments, as housing price growth in Poland is currently the highest in Europe.
According to Money.pl, the 2% safe loan program stimulated foreigners’ demand for buying apartments in Poland. Among this group, the largest number of apartments were purchased by Ukrainian citizens last year.
In 2023, foreigners purchased 14,346 apartments in Poland, of which more than 7,700 properties with a total area of almost 390,000 square meters were bought by Ukrainians.
For comparison, the cost per square meter in Warsaw is almost $4 thousand, and, according to LUN, it does not exceed $1.5 thousand in Kyiv.
