Ukrainian Vogue presents a cover of the war

The Ukrainian edition of Vogue is releasing a print issue with a special cover. The glossy features a photo shoot by British photographer Brett Lloyd with Ukrainian model Karina Maziar and cadets from the Ivan Bohun Military Lyceum in Kyiv.

The famous photographer has visited Ukraine twice, in Kharkiv, Kyiv, near the front line in Kostiantynivka, Kupiansk, and Toretsk. Brett Lloyd has photographed famous glossies like Dior, Louis Vuitton, Moncler, Calvin Klein, and Fendi. Now, his work includes Ukrainian soldiers, veterans, doctors, students, priests, actors, and civilians.

The heroine of the digital cover of Vogue Ukraine Edition 5 is 21-year-old Oksana Rubanyak, nicknamed Xena, a platoon commander of a brigade of the Ukrainian Army.
