Ukrainian sportsmen win several medals at the Olympic Games

Ukrainian gymnast Ilya Kovtun won silver in the uneven bars at the Olympic Games in Paris. This is Ukraine’s first medal in artistic gymnastics.

Ukraine’s hammer thrower Mykhailo Kokhan took third place in the final of the Olympic Games in Paris. His best result was 79.39 meters. This is the 23-year-old Kokhan’s debut Olympic medal. At the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, he was one step away from bronze, finishing fourth.

This is Olga Harlan’s sixth Olympic medal, making her the most decorated Olympic athlete in the history of Ukraine.
