A Ukrainian restaurant, Zhytomyr, opened in Nagoya, where Ukrainians evacuated to work in Japan.
This was announced on Facebook by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Japan, Sergiy Korsunsky.
“I congratulate the Ukrainians of Japan on opening another Ukrainian restaurant, Zhytomyr, in Nagoya. Firstly, it is beautiful; secondly, delicious; and thirdly, our people who came under the protection program work there,” the diplomat wrote.
Korsunsky informed that the opening was attended by the mayor, the prefecture deputy governor, prefectural assembly members, entrepreneurs, and many media.
