The Ukrainian national para-rowing team came first at the World Championships in Shanghai (China). According to the press service of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, domestic athletes won three medals: one gold and two silver medals, securing first place in the total number of awards.
Ukrainian medalists of the 2025 World Championships:
- “gold”: Anna Sheremet (PR1W1x) – became the world champion for the first time;
- “silver”: Roman Polyansky (PR1M1x);
- “silver”: Daria Kotyk / Stanislav Samolyuk (PR3Mix 2x).
It is worth noting that the Ukrainian national team ultimately secured second place in the number of gold awards, behind only Great Britain.
