Ukrainian racing driver Oleksandr Bondarev won two races of the second stage of the F1 GP Trophy championship in Abu Dhabi. Bondarev became the first Ukrainian to triumph at this level.
Oleksandr Bondarev started the second stage of the F1 GP Trophy championship with a victory. First, the Ukrainian pilot for the Prema team won the pole position, then led throughout the race and crossed the finish line first.
Bondarev also started the second race of the stage in Abu Dhabi, which was held as part of the final Grand Prix of the Formula 1 season, from the first starting position. Oleksandr also finished his second start in the championship with a confident victory, which he dedicated to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Thanks to his victory in the F1 GP Trophy, Bondarev became the first Ukrainian in the history of motor racing to win at least one stage of the F1 GP Trophy championship.
