“Palyanytsia” is a documentary film, directed by Kadim Tarasov and Yulia Bolshynskaya, about American street artists Bandit, Tristan, and Johnny (Aerosol Arsenal Films), who came to Ukraine during a full-scale war to see the war crimes of Russia, how Ukraine is fighting for its will and freedom, and to tell the world about it through the language of art. Together with the producer of the project, Kateryna Tymchenko, they travel through Ukrainian cities, creating art objects on the sites of the walls of buildings bombed by Russia, a burned car, etc.

This year, the film “Palyanytsia” made a loud statement at two prestigious international film festivals in the USA – Ethos Film Awards 2026 and Dallas International Film Festival 2026.

At the ETHOS Film Awards, the film received international recognition for the first time and won an honorary award for significant social impact for peace (Impact Award for Peace). It was the only Ukrainian film in the official program. After the screening, the audience had the opportunity to discuss the film with the creative team.

The film was screened for the general public at the Dallas International Film Festival (DIFF). The organizers and participants of the event, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, called “Palyanytsia” one of the strongest films in the official program.
