On July 4, Ukraine and Denmark signed an agreement that allows Ukrainian defense industry manufacturers to export technology. This was announced by Minister for Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin.
“In Copenhagen, we signed a historic agreement with Danish Minister of Industry Morten Bødskov. It paves the way for the creation of Ukrainian defense production facilities in Denmark,” he said.
Smetanin emphasized that Denmark will be the first country to which Ukraine will export its own defense technologies for production, scaling, and supply to the Ukrainian army.
According to him, this is a unique case of international cooperation for the Ukrainian defense industry, for which he is hugely grateful to his partners.
