Ukrainian composer and sound producer Igor Kirilenko has become music director of Luxembourg’s national selection for Eurovision 2026.
He spoke about the creation of the opening number in collaboration with the Tri Direction directing group.
“There were an incredible number of edits. We approved the intro on the 21st try,” he noted.
The winner of Eurovision 2025, Austrian singer JJ with the song Wasted Love, as well as Luxembourg’s representative at last year’s contest, Laura Thorn, performed during the show.
Luxembourg will be represented at Eurovision 2026 by singer Eva Maria with the song Mother Nature.
