Ukrainian artist Margarita Winkler has won one of the most prestigious international competitions in the field of visual communications – the Annual Illustration Competition, held by the Communication Arts publication.
The jury noted Winkler’s series of illustrations for the book Homebound, which tells the story of the war in Ukraine. The publication was in Italy – the book was published by the Orecchio Acerbo publishing house and marked the artist’s debut.
The Annual Illustration Competition is an annual international competition organized by the Communication Arts magazine. The publication has been published since 1959 and is considered one of the key publications in the world in the fields of illustration, graphic design, advertising, and interactive media.
